The Center for Catholic Education at Aquinas College, in conjunction with the Aquinas College School of Education, serves Catholic elementary and secondary schools by providing spiritual and professional formation opportunities in the area of mission and Catholic identity.

 

Aquinas College

Founded in 1961, Aquinas College is a private, Roman Catholic, four-year liberal arts college in Nashville, Tennessee. It is owned and operated by the Dominican Sisters of St. Cecilia Congregation. Both sisters and lay students study on our beautiful 83-acre campus.

Dominican Sisters

of St. Cecilia

The Dominican Sisters of St. Cecilia Congregation were founded in Nashville in 1860.  For over 150 years, the Congregation has been faithful to the teaching mission of the Church. The sisters presently teach over 15,000 students from preschool through college in the United States, Canada, Europe, and Australia.

About Us

The Dominican Sisters of St. Cecilia were founded in Nashville, TN, in 1860.  We opened our Aquinas College in 1961.  We are privileged to both serve as and work with Catholic educators across the country and around the world, bringing Jesus Christ to all we meet.
