DAY 4: Faith Becomes Culture
Updated: Nov 29, 2019
The grandeur of Montecassino is the grandeur of Christianity, the grandeur of the Son of God become man who continues to capture the hearts of His beloved creatures. How does He capture our hearts? Through beauty, goodness, truth, and love. These create the genuine elements of human culture and reflect our common way of seeing: we long for something beyond this world. The experience of friendship and communion--the experience of Saints Benedict and Scholastica, a brother and sister both biologically and spiritually--is the experience of God.
“There is nothing more important than the love of Christ” ~St. Benedict
